The St. Patrick's Parade Committee is offering a new T-shirt this year that will be the official T-shirt of the parade.  A portion of the proceeds of sales of the shirt will go to the parade.  We expect to have a new design each year.

This T-shirt will be sold in the weeks prior to the parade in retail outlets and T-shirt stands throughout the city at full retail price.

The Pittsburgh St. Patrick’s Day Parade is pleased to announce that its 2014 official parade T-shirt is now in production and is rolling out to retailers! In anticipation of Pittsburgh’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade in a few weeks, and as part of this announcement, the Parade Committee invites members of the media to get a glimpse of the distinctive green shirts accented in white and orange as they come off the presses at All Pro Embroidery.

Last year the T-shirt proved to be popular for Pittsburghers in the weeks leading up to the parade. While some purchase it to wear to the parade, others see it as a collectible.

This year’s clean shirt design, featuring a forestgreen shirt, showcases the iconic Pittsburgh skyline and the region’s Irish heritage.

For out of town parade supporters and others, T-shirts can be purchased online while those supplies last. AT THIS POINT, THERE ARE NO GUARANTEES YOU WILL RECEIVE YOUR SHIRT BEFORE THE PARADE.

Here is how to order online:
1. Go to www.leway.com.
2. Insert the code IRISH (ALL CAPS) in the access code field and hit return.
3. Allow a few seconds to be directed to the page. A graphic image of the T-shirt will appear.
4. Under SKU click T-shirt;

a. Under Product/Variation, select your size;
b. Under Quantity insert the number of shirts you are purchasing;
c. After price hit return until you are directed to the page for credit card information.

A portion of the shirt’s proceeds will go to The Irish Society for Education & Charity, Inc., the nonprofit
parent of the Pittsburgh St. Patrick’s Parade Committee.

Parade sponsors include: River City Brass, Clearview Federal Credit Union, Gallagher Home Healthcare, Ford Motor Company, and Cleaveland Price.
Each year, the parade draws 23,000 participants. 200 marching units including 18 marching bands. Floats and many other groups representing several Irish heritage and other ethnic heritage organizations. On a warmer day, the Parade has drawn over 350,000 spectators.
